12-ft python rescued in Odisha’s Khordha

Khordha: Forest officials today rescued a 12-ft long python on a road here.

The reptile weighs around 25-30 kg. The python was rescued on the road connecting to Garh Khordha from Khordha. It was brought to district veterinary hospital from where it was shifted to Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar for treatment.

According to reports, the python sustained internal injury after it was run over by a bike while moving towards the forest.
