Rayagada: Continuing their violent activities, Maoists set on fire as many as ten vehicles at a contactor camp in Melakajoba village under Kalyanginghpur police limits in Odisha’s Rayagada district late last night.
According to reports, eight masked Maoists stormed into the camp, threatened the workers to leave the place and torched the vehicles including 4 tractors, 4 motorcycles, one Bolero SUV and a JCB.
The red rebels committed the act as they were reportedly protesting the Gunduriguda-Lakhapadar road work under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
