He has been active in field of blood donation by organizing many blood donation camps across Odisha.

Speaking on the occasion, Ama Odisha chief Soumya Ranjan Patnaik congratulated everyone for creating positive mindset among the youths for donating blood.

“I would like to congratulate all for Jeevan Bindu campaign. In fact, everyone perceives all the political parties in different way. But Jeevan Bindu is such a programme whose enemies are also commending it,” he said.

Lauding the contribution of Jeevan Bindu programme of ruling BJD, he said, “Personally, I am delighted for the programme. We had created the record by collecting the highest units of blood in the past 11 years in the State. Now, Jeevan Bindu achieved the success in field of blood donation. I am happy for our competitor Jeevan Bindu.”

If there will be no goal set before us, we will not be able to reach the target in future, he said.

With combined effort of both the programmes, nobody will die due to shortage of blood, Patnaik added.

Notably, Ama Odisha has created a unique place for itself by collecting 4.40 lakh units blood in the past 11 years.
