Jeypore, May 16:

The Jeypore police today arrested two persons in connection with the death of a bike stuntman at ‘Maut Ka Kuan’ (Well of Death) in Meena Bazaar near Gandhi Chhak in Odisha’s Koraput district recently.

The arrested were identified as Chotu Singh, organiser of the show, and Muhammad Feroze Ansari, a car driver.

Notably, the biker, identified as Jitu Singh, a resident of Ranchi, was performing along with his associates at ‘Maut Ka Kuan’ and died after a fatal accident.

While Jitu was speeding along the wall of the well, the car behind which he was tailing slowed down and skidded from its track resulting in the accident where the biker hit the car from rear.

Under the impact of the thud, the stuntman fell down and car turned turtle.

Worse, none of the bikers performing the daredevil show was wearing helmet.
