Rayagada, Apr 8:

A week after exploding bomb inside Daikallu railway station office in Odisha’s Rayagada, Maoists set a liquor shop on fire at Raghubari village under Ambadola police limits in the district late last night.

According to reports, around 12 armed Maoists stormed into the shop and beat its three staff besides torching a bike.

They left Maoist posters before fleeing the spot in which the extremists have opposed Operation Green Hunt and called for a liquor-free Odisha.

Police have started investigation into the incident.
