Train extended to Odisha’s Rajsunakhala flagged off

Extension of Khurda Road-Begunia-Khurda Road passenger train was flagged off today at Rajsunakhala station. MPs Prasanna Kumar Patasani, AU Singhdeo, MLAs Rabinarayan Mohapatra and Prasant Kumar Jagadev graced the occasion and flagged off the train on its inaugural run of the extended portion.

As per the schedule, 58429 Khurda Road-Rajsunakhala passenger will leave Khurda Road at 0645hrs and will arrive at Rajsunakhala at 0800hrs. In the return direction, 58430 Rajsunakhala-Khurda Road passenger will leave Rajsunakhala at 0825hrs and will reach at Khurda Road at 0940hrs.

Similarly, 58427 Khurda Road-Rajsunakhala passenger will leave Khurda Road at 1935hrs and will arrive at Rajsunakhala at 2050hrs. In the return direction, 58428 Rajsunakhala-Khurda Road passenger will leave Rajsunakhala at 0500hrs and will reach at Khurda Road at 0615hrs.​rajsunakhala train flagged off

The meeting was presided over by SK Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road SK Nayak, Chief Engineer (Construction), East Coast Railway was also present o­n the dias. H L Luang, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Khurda Road offered vote of thanks.

Notably, Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu had flagged off the first-ever train to run on the 32 km stretch of Khurda Road-Begunia section of the Khurda-Bolangir track at Begunia station on July 16.
