The South Korean automobile manufacturer’s domestic sales surged by 23 percent at 47,015 units, from 38,010 units during September last year, but exports dropped by 17.9 percent, with 14,777 units being shipped out as against 18,009 in the corresponding period last year.
“Hyundai sales of 47,015 units are all-time highest with an all-time high sales of Grand i10 with 14,079 units,” said senior vice-president, sales and marketing, Rakesh Srivastava.
“We expect the growth momentum to continue in the coming months with improving customer sentiments and hence have planned to reduce wait time for customers,” he added. (IANS)
