55 dengue cases detected in Odisha so far: Health Minister

Bhubaneswar, July 30:

Odisha Health minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak today informed that out of 707 blood samples tested till date in the state, 55 have tested positive for dengue while one person has died of the disease.

19 of those who tested positiveforf the virus are from outside states, he said adding 17 were from Bangalore and two others hailed from other states.

The minister further informed that treatment of dengue patients and testing of blood samples are being done free of cost at SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack and at all district headquarters hospitals.
